Astell & Kern Billie Jean

Billie Jean is a new In-Ear Monitor collaboration between Astell&Kern and Jerry Harvey Audio. It is a Dual Balanced Armature (BA) design that uses JH Audio’s custom SIREN drivers.

The design features small, comfortable earpieces and a lightweight braided cable that utilises a detachable 2-pin connection.

The sound of Billie Jean is quite unique. It has a dense, rich lower-mid focus which brings depth to male vocals and instruments like acoustic guitar and piano. They feature JH Audio’s Freqphase technology, which ensures that the sound from the individual drivers is properly aligned by the time it reaches your ears. This means that the sense of precision and clarity from the Billie Jeans is quite stunning, even if high frequencies are not particularly emphasised.
