The AF120 Mk2 is a refresh of the popular AF120, designed by the Aussie company Audiofly. The AF120mk2 brings a smoother, dark sound with one of the most inexpensive hybrid designs on the market. The AF120 comes bundled with a 1.2m removable MMCX cable, terminated in a 3.5m right angled plug. The cable is a high spec Audioflex™ braided cable made with a Cordura® fabric outer sheath for great durability. The earphone comes bundled with a large assortment of accessories including a carrying case, a cleaning tool, cable clip, airplane adaptor, 3.5mm to 6.35mm adaptor, and most distinctively, multiple sets of eartips including tri-flange tips, Comply foam tips, and domed silicone tips.

The AF120 Mk2 is a hybrid earphone with a balanced armature driver for high and mid frequencies and a low frequency dynamic driver for powerful bass. The result is a dark sound signature, with an emphasis on the low bass frequencies whilst presenting recessed treble and mid frequencies. Vocals are given a backseat, alongside percussion to allow the heavy bass layering and thickness to be presented. Swapping the eartips included can influence the isolation, tuning it to your preferences, with the triple flanges offering the best isolation, and the Comply-foam with the best comfort.
