Custom Unique Melody MASON FS Le Jardin CIEM

The limited CIEM version of the MASON FS Le Jardin offers better noise cancellation and maximum performance from the bone conduction driver, to deliver stunning realism and immersive music reproduction.

Inspired by Monet’s paintings, the MASON FS Le Jardin earpieces are made of top graded natural cholla cactus wood mixed with red-purple-blue resin. The stabilization process is complicated since it involves resin molding and wood strengthening, two major subprocesses.  This requires evacuating air from the wood, leaving it in a vacuum, and injecting resin into the wood. The final trimming die requires a unique mold coloration process. In the process of pressing, a pressure chamber exerts constant pressure in order to discharge bubbles from the resin. Ultimately, the finished earshell is a unique piece of workmanship with high strength and density, with an attractive finish.

For the custom version of this earphone, each earpiece is built in the shape of the customer’s ear shape with the same stabilised cholla wood finish. Each earpiece is crafted with precision CNC milling to ensure maximum comfort and skin contact.

With 13 drivers per ear, including a unique UM Silver-Palladium Alloy Piezoelectric driver that uses the principle of bone conduction to transmit sound directly through the innner ear, retrieving the most minute details as micro-vibrations.

UM’s newly developed silver-palladium alloy piezoelectric bone conduction driver has 27 layers of ceramic coating, with each layer of ceramic between 23-25μm in thickness.  

Each bone conduction unit is rigorously tested for capacitance, dielectric loss, displacement, and resonance frequency. The ceramic is sintered at 980°C using conductive palladium paste with high-temperature resistance, guaranteeing immaculate product performance. Compared with the 14-layer ceramic coating in the dBC-s system of other UM IEMs, the silver-palladium alloy piezoelectric bone conduction driver boasts more layers and greater thickness. This improves the quality of the vibration effect and makes the sound even more unique.

The dark blue and ink black double color stitching cable, ‘Meet Again’, is manufactured by the top cable manufacturer PW Audio.

Meet Again is based off the top-of-the-line cable, the Orpheus. The Orpheus is made of a new copper structure which brings the most natural detail retrieval and the greatest dynamic range, taking the sound of Le Jardin to a even higher level.
